Difference between four stroke and two stroke petrol engine.

 4 stroke petrol engine:

4 stroke petrol engine

1. There is zero ports but there are two valve.

2. All the four stroke is complete in two rotation of the crank.

3. Lubricant is taking separately.

4. There is lose of fuel is less.

5. Heavier flywheel is used.

6. Scavenging is less.

7. Mileage is less than two stroke.

8. Efficiency is less than two stroke engine.

2 stroke petrol engine:

2 stroke petrol engine

1. There are three ports.

2. The two stroke is complete in a single rotation of the crank.

4. Lubricant is mixed with air-fuel mixture.

Light flywheel is used.

5. Lost of fuel is more.

6. Scavenging is more.

7. Mileage is higher than four stroke engine.

8. Efficiency is more than four stroke engine.

Difference between four stroke petrol and diesel engine.

Petrol Engine:

Four stroke petrol engine

1. It works on otto cycle.

2. Air fuel mixture enter inside the cylinder during suction stroke.

3. Carburetor is used.

4. Spark plug is used.

5. There is no fuel injector.

6. Low compression ratio(6-10).

7. Efficiency is low.

8. Fuel consumption is high.

9. It is used for weight vehicles e.g- motorcycle, scooty etc.

10. Less noise produced.

Diesel engine:

Four stroke diesel engine

1. It work on diesel cycle.

2. Diesel enter inside the cylinder during end of the compression stroke.

3. There is no carburetor.

4. There is no spark plug.

5. Fuel injector is used.

6. High compression stroke (14-20).

7. Efficiency is high.

8. Fuel consumption is low.

9. It is used for heavy weight vehicles, e.g- truck, bus etc.

10. High noise produced.

BASIC CONCEPT OF AUTOMOBILE
